Early Behavioural Intervention

We work with you to enrich your language and play interactions with your toddler/preschooler. Using naturalistic developmental behavioural intervention (NDBI) strategies, we will teach you to recognize and optimize natural play and language opportunities throughout your everyday routines and interactions.

This service may be helpful if you are waiting for an assessment for your child or your child has recently received a diagnosis of autism or developmental delay.

*Please note that caregiver-mediated programs are also offered free of charge through the Ontario Autism Program for registered children between the ages of 12-48 months.

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)

ABA uses scientifically validated learning principles to help individuals achieve meaningful change and growth through a skill-building model. To support your goals, we will collaborate with you and your child to assess their strengths and needs, and develop strategies that will work for your child and family.

Comprehensive ABA works on multiple goals over the course of multiple sessions per week and can include increasing learner readiness, pre-academic, communication, play and leisure, and daily living skills.

Focused ABA targets a specific or small group of related skills and may be implemented weekly with the client or through caregiver-mediated service.

Each Individualized Service Plan is created and overseen by a Registered Behaviour Analyst. A team of clinicians will help your child learn new skills while actively involving you, as caregivers, to successfully support your child.

Counselling

We offer counselling/psychotherapy to autistic youth and teens and their families who may benefit from a talk-therapy approach. Services are provided by a Registered Social Worker and provided in-clinic or via teletherapy.

The length of therapy can vary depending on the individual's needs and goals. We encourage you to book a 15-minute free consult to explore if this is a good fit for you.
